Anyone with cellulite anywhere on their body, who's self-conscious of it, knows how they feel when they open that wardrobe in the morning, or for the clothes to wear on an evening out. It's like a treasure hunt for the outfit with the most cloth.
Short outfits tossed to the back of the drawers, or put into storage, never to be worn in public again.
Spare some thought for the gymnast though.
Can you imagine having to go into a dressing room, getting ready to don a leotard and put on a show?
Hello fright night, cover the mirrors.
You can't cover your rear though, and it's going to be mighty hard looking behind you to make sure whatever cream's being used is all rubbed in, and actually masking the cottage cheese effect.
Gymnasts are people who are left feeling as though they've no option but to figure out on their own, the long and hard way on how to get rid of cellulite on the buttocks, with many spending years trying all sorts of methods, and never seem to feel fulfilled with any technique.
Yet the solution is so stupendously simple, it's painful to even think of the time that's wasted on fad diet solutions, or proclaimed cellulite cures.
Nothing is going to work without intervention for prevention.
Prevention of fat being passed to the subcutaneous tissue that causes the cellulite to rise up to the surface. You do that with your diet.
Control your calories - control the cellulite.
To get rid of it, especially in the derriere, there's one particular muscle you want to focus on.
The hamstring!
Working that muscle with a 45-degree leg press will work the butt, hips, and your inner thighs, for an awesome targeted lower body exercise.
Stretches do the same thing though, so you don't need to be spending hours on exercise every day. Some stretches you can even do when you're lying in your bed. An effective cellulite exercise you can do at home is to simply use a pillow. Stick that between your legs, and press together as hard as possible.
That's going to strengthen your hamstring area, giving you the added benefit of strength training. That's where the emphasis needs to be, so that you're working your body, for the end goal of your body working for you.
You do that by strengthening the muscle tissue around your buttocks. Every muscle above the knee needs stretched to maximise the strength in that area. The more muscle you have, the more the fat will burn and stop cellulite rising to the surface.
Stronger hamstrings equates to cellulite no more!
That gets easier with time, when you eat clean. It's the only way to get rd of cellulite. Treat the problem for what it is. An internal problem.
Pay attention to your nutrition and work with what you have.
